For 40th edition of HOST Milano, an international fair appointment for the Ho.Re.Ca (foodservice, retail, GDO and hotels) hold at Fieramilano from the 20th to the 24th of October 2017. New Retail Concept has developed for Cierreesse Arredamenti the expositive concept FooD. It has been a conceptual research and development that has culminated with the production of four expositive areas. All different by content, but with a similar concept. At the hearth of the FooD project exist the want of having an harmonic dialog between innovation and tradition, present and past, occident and orient. FooD has been developed having in account the principal sectors of the food retail and the global trends that influence them. For each area has been studied a space, receipt, presentation that enhances the shapes, colors and ingredients. The CARBO section, made of bread, pizza and pasta, represents grain in its three principal forms. First the fragrant fresh baked bread, through the MUST of the Italian food: pizza. After, an Italian classic: pasta&tomato sauce. With using a food design oriented view, the pasta+tomato sauce+cheese+aroma has been studied in its different possibilities. Here as well, it has not been forgotten the last trends from oriental lands represented by the dim sun. Through the development of the PESCE(FISH) area, it has been worked over the tradition of the "cicchetto veneziano" influenced by oriental flavors and dressed in a gourmet style. Each showed in its own carefully chosen china plate, placed like small salted cakes. Immediately after: BAR CENTRALE, where the unique elegance of the Italian rite gets dressed with contemporary scents and flavors. It is a space that harbor with knowledge the exigences of the present with the gastronomic myths from the past. The traditional coffee shop becomes an expression of a contemporary Italian rituality. To finish the gastronomic experience, the VEGETALI (VEGETABLE) section: a rainbow of shapes and colors that goes from the diverse states of fruits and vegetables. It goes from the sprout to the fruit, from the juices to the ice-cream. All made with seasonal ingredients, but with unusual mixes. At the whole of the fruit counter, each single vegetable product came represented as the most special jewell. These four areas offer compact and on-the-go gourmet solutions, most times born from the mix of different cultures. Through tasty single portions, prepared with care by our Chefs, it has been possible to delight the mouth with a great range of flavors. A travel around the food world, rich of stops and unexpected discoveries.
